Shuttle Driver

What the Job Involves:

As a shuttle driver, you'll be at the heart of our efficient transportation network. Linehaul freight throughout our network.

Position Options:

Home Daily Solo Shuttle Driver

• Drive a predictable route, leave in the evening, and arrive back home at your origin the following morning.

Home Weekly Sleeper Shuttle Driver

• Move LTL freight through multiple Averitt facilities over the course of your workweek.

Home Weekly Team Shuttle Drivers

• Run multiple shuttle routes across the Averitt network.
• Bring your own co-driver, or we can pair you with a compatible co-driver.

Schedule/Hours:

• Home Daily: Leave in the evening, arrive back home at your origin the following morning
• Home Weekly: Work throughout your workweek with home time weekly

Pay/Compensation:

• Home Daily Solo Shuttle Driver: Competitive pay making up to .835 CPM (depending on experience). Average $1,962.25 per week; $102,037 per year (while making top-out pay of .835 CPM)
• Home Weekly Sleeper Shuttle Driver: Competitive pay making up to .835 CPM (depending on experience). Average $1,962.25 per week; $102,037 per year (while making top-out pay of .835 CPM) plus a company-sponsored per diem program
• Home Weekly Team Shuttle Drivers: Average $4,680 per week split; $243,360 per year split; starting at .93 CPM split plus a company-sponsored per diem program

Requirements:

• Competitive mileage pay
• Hazmat and tanker are required
• Minimum 4 months (1 year preferred) of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• CDL-A
