Gain hands-on project management experience and industry knowledge through daily business interactions, project coordination activities, and job assignments. The Project Manager Intern will support project planning, execution, and monitoring efforts while developing an understanding of project lifecycle management, operational processes, and cross-functional collaboration. Work is performed under direct supervision.
- Supports Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities to help ensure successful project execution.
- Visits job sites before, during, and after installations to observe project progress, verify quality standards, and assist in ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
- Assists with project tracking, status updates, documentation, and reporting to support effective project management and decision-making.
- May perform duties such as measuring, gathering, analyzing, and organizing data to provide information for departmental projects, reports, and performance tracking.
- Reviews installation orders, schedules, project plans, and resource requirements to help identify needs and support on-time project completion.
- Assists in monitoring project milestones, identifying potential risks or delays, and communicating issues to appropriate team members.
- Reviews reports and helps resolve project-related issues to support cost control, operational efficiency, and timely installations.
- Develops or revises standard operating procedures and working practices and observes field activities to support compliance with established standards and project requirements.
- Participates in project meetings and collaborates with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, engineering, and field personnel, to help achieve project goals.
- Gains exposure to project scheduling, budgeting, estimating, resource planning, and customer-focused project delivery practices.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree. Prefer GPA of 3.0 or higher. Prefer junior or senior level, but will consider other class levels.
