Casual Terminal Driver / Lasher (JAX)

Casual Terminal Driver/Lasher positions are on-call, non-guaranteed hour roles supporting vessel discharge and loading operations at Crowley's Jacksonville terminal. Casuals may also operate yard jockey trucks to load and offload barges. This position is responsible for attending vessel discharges in support of cargo operations to address trailer hitch malfunctions or ballasting problems. Duties include: operating yard trucks and terminal equipment to move trailers and cargo; lashing and securing cargo containers and trailers on vessel decks; supporting terminal operations during vessel port calls; adhering to all safety procedures and company policies. Requirements: valid commercial driver's license preferred; TWIC card required or ability to obtain; ability to work variable shifts including nights and weekends; physical ability to perform manual lashing and equipment operation duties. Note: Casuals are NOT GUARANTEED a 40-hour work week nor a full-time regular position.
