- Execute clean, strong MIG welds on carbon steel and aluminum assemblies using solid wire and spool gun/push-pull setups.
- Cut, grind, clean, and fit steel and aluminum parts according to engineering specifications and tolerance limits.
- Interpret welding symbols, technical drawings, and work orders to guide proper joint design and layout.
- Maintain gas flow rates, select proper wire drives/contact tips, perform routine wire changes, and troubleshoot minor feeder issues.
- Inspect finished welds for defects and repair as necessary to ensure structural integrity.
- Strictly adhere to PPE requirements, proper ventilation practices for aluminum fumes, and workshop safety protocols.
